Today is November 9, 2013.
I have read 50 books toward my goal of 60 for 2013. I’m behind but 1-Click is going to get me in trouble.
October was supposed to be the scary book month, but yup I’m a rebel so………. here is what I completed the month with.
I’ve been reading novel, after novel, after novel…..lol. However, here is what is occupying my spare time this week:
Aversion (Book One of The Mentalist Series) by Kenechi Udogu— For Gemma Green’s first time, things should have been straightforward. Find your subject, hold their gaze and push a thought into their head to save them from future disaster – Aversion complete.
The Boss by Abigail Barnette— I downloaded it to my kindle to read later and 44% later I can’t put it down. What can I say!!!?? This book has caught my attention and has some surprising things happening that I just didn’t expect, but in a literary good way. So place this on your TBR list but one-click it now……it’s currently only $.99.
Blurb: Sophie Scaife almost ran away once, trading her ticket to college for a ticket to Tokyo. But a delayed flight and a hot one-night stand with a stranger changed her mind, putting her firmly on track to a coveted position at a New York fashion magazine.
When the irresistible stranger from that one incredible night turns out to be her new boss – billionaire and publishing magnate Neil Elwood – Sophie can’t resist the chance to rekindle the spark between them… and the opportunity to explore her submissive side with the most Dominant man she’s ever known.
This Monday I’m in the middle of so many awesome books and many more on my TBR list! Here’s what’s occupying my currently reading shelf this week:
Today is October 28, 2013.
I have read 48 books toward my goal of 60 for 2013. Now I’m a few books behind. 😦 But I should be back on track soon.
September, I had a lot going on with a new job, moving and lots of other stuff but here is what I completed the month with.
I’ve been reading novel, after novel, after novel…..lol. On average I think I’ve been reading at least three books at a time. But, I have happily recruited new readers for some of the series I have posted reviews on. However, here is what is occupying my spare time this week:
Wanted (Wanted Series Book 1) by Amanda Lance — A romance, suspense novel where a young girl stumbles upon and witnesses a crime and thus is kidnapped as a precaution. “Considering she’s a girl who calculates everything, Addie Battes knew the statistical probability of being abducted in her lifetime–too bad she never analyzed the odds of falling in love with her captor…”. Just started but so far it’s interesting.
Aversion (Book One of The Mentalist Series) by Kenechi Udogu— Just started!
Hey all!! So last month I increased my reading book challenge from 40 books to 60 books. Now I actually started the Goodreads book challenge in May so for half a year I thought 40 books would be enough…….then I found myself with about a week left in August and I only had four books left to reach that goal. Yay me right………..not!!!!! I felt I could push myself more so I increased the goal an additional 20 books. 🙂 So now my goal is 60 books for half a year. But all in all it was a great month. Here were my book choices for August:
- Afterburn by Sylvia Day – 5 Stars
- The White Aura (White Aura, #1) by Felicia Tatum – 4 Stars
- Pack Law (Pack Law, #1) by Marie Stephens – 2 Stars
- Complete Me (Stark Trilogy, #3) by J. Kenner – 3 Stars
- The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern – 5 Stars
- Fractured Souls (Shattered Promises, #2) by Jessica Sorensen – 5 Stars
- Shadows Fall (Others of Edenton, #1.5) by Brandy L. Rivers – 4 Stars
- Rainwater Kisses: A Billionaire Love Story by Krista Lakes – 3 Stars
- Locked (The Alpha Group, #1) by Maya Cross – 3 Stars
So now my challenge stats are as follows: You have read 39 books toward your goal of 60 books.
Goodreads is taunting me because it nows says that I’m 1 book behind schedule. I guess I need to pick it up a notch. Till next update……Keep reading.
